Gen 25:24-31, 28:52
Gen 33:1-8
Lev 17:1
Jacob and Esau had the same blood; twins, yet
they fought right from the womb.
They were proud of their ancestry and had a name to be proud
of.
Even God was
called ‘The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’
Jacob and Esau came from a big family, but big
families sometimes have and hide big issues and problems
Esau was loved by
his father while Jacob was loved by
his mother, probably because each parent saw him/herself in the child.
During the duration of Rebekah’s pregnancy, she went to the
prophet who said there were two nations in her womb.
Don’t Under Estimate Someone Because They Are
Not Strong In Your Area Of Strength.
Esau under
estimated Jacob because he felt he
was stronger, but Jacob was smarter.
When the game changed, a different set of rules applied and Esau was lost.
Esau was tricked
out of his birthright because he felt Jacob
was not as strong as him
The wicked Jacob
used the weakness of his weak brother
Any Man That Cannot Control His Appetite Is
In For Trouble
Jacob had always
craved the love of his Father, while Esau
always craved the love of his Mother.
Be careful of people who want what you have
Esau was a GOOD MAN
Jacob was a GOD MAN, but a bad
man.
Being a Good man is a process, but being a God man
could be instantaneous.
It takes process to
build character.
Some People Are Better By Nature Than Some Others
Are By Practice.
GOD men are not always GOOD men
because everyone has his struggle
Jacob got everything he wanted but lost his
twin brother in the process
For many
years, Jacob and Esau were estranged.
Everything is
not about money, Jacob had
everything but he didn’t have the relationship of his brother so he had a fight
within himself.
Jacob struggled all through his life; he
was lonely all through the crowd. He had achieved a lot, but there was
something in him that yearned for blood. He missed the most important person in
his life.
You can’t
tell me how much you love God if you
don’t love me as your brother
The evidence
that you love God and have
encountered God is the love you have
for man.
There Are 2 Types of Blood Relationship
1.
Family
2.
Church
(by reason of the blood of Jesus)
You might win
the fight or argument, but not at the expense of your brother.
Only your
brother, wife, husband or church member can tell you the truth.
Don’t Get Everything At The Expense Of Your
Relationship.
Don’t claim the right to be hurt or upset. Whenever you
remember a brother that hurt you and you feel pain, it’s a sign that you are
also in bondage, forgive the person, because you are also holding yourself down.
