Anyone who is totally blind is to be pitied
Your blessing is tied to your sight.

All the land that your eyes can see I will give it you and your descendants. That's what God told Abraham.

Much as I pity the blind, I pity more, the one who can't see though his eyes are open.

God is not a foolish God or tied to coincidence. From the moment Lot left Abraham God told him to lift his eyes and see. He saw even up to where lot went to. So where Lot went to became Abraham's by sight. That's why when God wanted to destroy the place he needed to take permission from the landlord. He didn't just say Abraham is my friend. No! The place was owned by Abraham.

The aim of this series is to force you to open your eyes and see beyond where you are

Prov 29:18
Where there is no vision, the people perish not where the economy is bad, or where naira has fallen or in America or Nigeria. The bible didn't pin point a location. It says where vision is absent the people there will perish.
People can perish even in the midst of abundance. That explains why some people are enjoying while others are perishing.
That's why poverty and wealth are universal citizens they can be found wherever in the world. The choice is yours

2 Sam 3:1

How many do you have questions for God?
Why am I the way I am?
Why is failure looking like my twin?
Why is death hanging around my family?

The writer of Habakkuk says I will go to my tower. Tower, signifying prayer house, the upper house to pray. And the answer I'm waiting for from God is this, “write the vision plain..."
As he complained, God opened his eyes to see. The problem was tied to blindness.
He was questioning because he couldn't see. You can't question what you see. Nobody doubts results.

I will climb up upon my watch tower and wait to see, not wait to hear what the Lord will tell me to say and what answer he will give.
As the Lord is speaking to me, I am painting pictures of what he is saying.

The bible has lots of promises in it. So if God says you will live, you need to see beyond the letter and see yourself living. But if you just hear without seeing, you can't enjoy it. Until the letter is transformed to the video version, you can't be what you desire to be.
I will wait to see what he will say. In other words, as he is saying it to me, I am painting pictures.

Ladies are good at this. As you are talking to her, she is painting the picture. That's why some marriages fail, because when the pictures are too much, when she gets in and doesn't see anything what she starts to say is ‘but you told me'...
So be careful what you say.

Like Habakkuk said, I will wait to see. Until you begin to transform the letters of the word to a video format, it won't interest you.
That's why bible says we are the bride of Christ which is why when God comes with his romantic words, we begin to paint pictures we fall more and more in love with him. But until you begin to paint these pictures you won't partake of this.

Vision is your ability to see or glance into the plan of God for your life.
Vision means sight, to see.

A man who starts a foundation for a building in a forest does so for no other reason than the vision that is in his head.
Vision gives mobility to life. What pushes a man is he vision he carries. Don't step into a place without having vision for the place. If you are to enter into the forest of life, make sure you do it having a vision. Otherwise a lion will come out someday and devour you.

Many of us are in the construction or foundation aspect of our lives. It doesn't matter who doesn't want to associate with you now. It's vision that will see you through this phase.

Vision means seeing the final, complete aspect of your life.
Not hallucination or fantasizing.
You can hallucinate or fantasize and sleep off. But you can't have vision and sleep off.
Vision is evidenced by pursuit.
You can't feature in a future you can't picture.
If you can picture the future, it’s only a matter of time. You will get there.

Looking at a poor person, he doesn't need just money; he needs vision, not money. Such that the poverty state is transit, a passing phase a matter of time.

Rochas Okorocha's Mother sold beans and akara in the streets of Jos. Today he has a foundation that takes care of many children.

If you have vision now, no matter your condition, you will be celebrated tomorrow.

Vision is in phases.
One level accomplished leads you to the next phase. Vision does not have an end. Life can end but vision cannot.

Inaugurating House on the Rock Asaba was in phases. Church grew from about 60-120 in 6months. In hotel Benizia. But I had a vision to move to Ladies League. Our first Sunday there, we had the highest number of first timers. Then came another vision for a new place. And yet our numbers increased to fit that capacity.

A man of vision is restless. Until what you see makes you restless.
Restlessness is your ability to move from where you are to the next level. Agitation, I need to move.
Vision doesn't need a governor or big men to fund it. If it's so strong in your spirit, God will raise stones. But if you are waiting for big men, you don't have a vision, you have a launching.

Nobody can stop vision. It's like water. The only thing you can do is to give it a channel. If you block it, it will push you down.
So I pity men who want to become a hindrance to vision. God may not be with you but he backs vision.
I don’t need to kill you or pray against you. I just need to bring up a vision that you counter and God will naturally kill you; because nothing stops the project of God.

5 Reasons Why You Need Vision

1. VISION IS A PRODUCT OF PURPOSE.
Every purpose is vision driven. Every man is created for a purpose. So every man is a compendium of purpose which you live with as a person. But how far you go with it is driven by vision.
You cannot have vision without purpose. If you do, you will die unfulfilled. Myles Munro says the richest place in the world is the burial ground where men died without fulfilling purpose. One reason is that some did not discover it. Others did but had no vision to accomplish it.

2. YOUR SUCCESS AND FAILURE IN LIFE IS TIED TO YOUR VISION
God does not back a man; God backs a man's vision. Bible says my people perish for lack of knowledge not lack of protection. There are ways to attract protection without doing anything. Some of the greatest men on the earth are not prayer warriors but there are some principles they are keyed into. God does not back a man. God backs vision.
If your child were to pick up a pair of glasses, you would be on double alert till it was put down carefully. Same as God, if you carry vision, God is on double alert. He is following you because you carry vision. If you don't carry vision because you are afraid, and you are just walking along, praying protection prayers, nothing will happen. God is not following you because God follows vision.
Bible said the son of man will not die outside Jerusalem. There were many attempts to kill him but none succeeded. God was following him around because of what he carried which was supposed to be dropped at Golgotha which is when God turned his back and he was finally killed. He never prayed for protection. Check the life of Christ...
But at every time they ganged up on him, the bible says he walked through their midst.
Please try and carry vision.
You are who you are because of the vision you are carrying not because of your car.
That's why Paul couldn't be killed by the enemy. They stoned and stoned him. He couldn't be killed. He went back into the city and held a bigger crusade.
We didn't hear about Mary till she began carrying something- got pregnant with God. In turn, God began to carry her. There are some things you do they will trace your ancestry. All you have been doing is tracing curses. It's when you meet this money that you will find out that your great grandfather was a millionaire.
Carry what they used to carry; you will become what they used to be.

Divine vision guarantees divine protection; because God must protect you because he wants to protect the vision.

You can't borrow vision.

Once you tap into divine vision and carry it, God himself leaves the heavens and follows you around.
The host of heaven will follow you around.
If you see yourself in the realm of the spirit and you have vision, you will be shocked. Angels in dazzling white, following you, walking behind you majestically.

Vision also means to know the plan of God for you. Jer 1:5
Before I formed you, i knew you. I have called you a prophet. When Jeremiah knew who he was in God, God made him known to his nation. When he was small Jeremiah, no one knew him. But when he assumed his position in God via vision, God made him known to the world. He became a commander

3. VISION PULLS YOU OUT OF SHAME.
My people perish for lack of vision. When you are in vision, everything the devil meant for dishonour will end in glory to his name. The cross was meant for dishonour. But the cross brought glory to his name. But in the history of humanity the cross has always been a sign of humility. Cross was in existence before Christ. People were crucified long before Jesus.
Cross was a symbol of evil but when a man carrying vision died on the cross, even the devil became afraid of the cross; because the cross began to represent Christ. If you have vision on the inside of you, whatever you are going through that is dishonour will become honor for you. While on the cross, He was seeing something. Immediately he died, the history of the cross became something else.

4. YOU NEED VISION TO MAINTAIN FOCUS

Vision directs your energy properly. As long as you haven't seen the finished product yet, you will stay with the project. Vision gives focus to your life. You won't be swept by every new fad in town. A man of vision can't be confused because there is a picture he is seeing. Vision gives birth to focus. Focus gives birth to concentration. Concentration gives birth to impact and impact gives birth to speed.
That's what happens in the western world or in factories. There are people whose job is just to put sandals into a box. Their hands are configured. That is concentration that gives rise to speed. You can do things by reflex once vision comes. A man with vision is never in a hurry; because sometimes hurrying is an evidence of competition. A man of vision does not compete in anyway. Because vision speaks wait for it. It will speak.

5. YOU NEED VISION TO ENHANCE YOUR CONFIDENCE
A man of vision is a confident man. Phil 1:6
If God is the one who has released the vision on the inside of you, you will be too confident that it will be accomplished. What God starts he finishes, what you start you will accomplish. Vision comes from Him not from man. Because you are not showcasing to anybody he is the one that knows the timing he is the one that will finish it. Vision is like a man in his field of calling, like a fish in the ocean. Swimming and doing all manner. Bring the fish out of the ocean caged in a small pool. There will be trouble and the fish after a while will die. Vision is like staying in your area of calling. Vision guarantees fulfillment. A man of vision is a fulfilled man; at every level and phase. Even knowing there are levels still ahead.

I see a time when there will be 24hrs light in this church premises that our students will come here to read. This place will look like paradise and you will be proud to say this is my church. Not because we want to compete.

But the vision will speak for itself. A man carrying vision is always a standard. When you carry vision, people want to carry you. When you don't carry anything, you are a stepping stone. People will want to step on you and deal with you.
I pray you won't go through this year the way you did last year. What does God want me to become.

Vision is tapping into the plan of God for your life for this year. You see it, run with it, you will become it. Anything your mind can see, your hand can touch.
Even when challenges come, we are not afraid because we will overcome.
